SHAH ALAM: “A former lawyer N Pathmanabhan and three farm workers with the intention to kill millionaire cosmetics, Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya and three friends in Banting, two years ago,” said Justice Akhtar Tahir, in his judgment in end of the prosecution case yesterday.

When reading a written judgment for one and a half hours, he said, there are plans to kill Sosilawati and three friends when the employee Pathmanabhan seen unloading timber at the farm of the first accused.
He said the motive for the killing Pathmanabhan Sosilawati when the cosmetics millionaire to accelerate the date of the meeting of a deferred checks worth RM3 million.

Meanwhile, he said, Pathmanabhan-owned bank accounts showing that he does not have bit of money.

“To me, this is the main motive for the killing Sosilawati. The other three are in place and just at the wrong time. So they had to be killed to cover your mouth, “said the prosecution had satisfied the prima facie case against the accused.
