Kat Hassan Not So Confident Singer
KUALA LUMPUR: singer Kat Hassan admitted suffering from depression because not confident to start a singing career after participating in the program Mentor second season in 2006.
Kat whose real name is Siti Khatijah Hassan, 25, said frustration arose because he feels as if not having the opportunity of becoming a recording artist.
“Three first year after I joined Mentor 2 is a painful period. I am depressed and sad that feel like there is no hope to grow as a professional singer.
“At that time I never thought of what to do to move forward but I stuck to start career, “he told mStar Online . Kat said when met after the launch of its first album titled flirting at the Hard Rock Cafe, here, Tuesday evening.
Add Kat, however he thanked his family for their support and unwavering belief in the potential itself.
“I’m grateful parents, my sister and brother-in-law of Nourish Amy (Search) always giving spirit I continue to pursue the dream of becoming singers. “From there I try to collect money by acting and stage performances received as much as possible to issue its own album,” partners.
Storytelling on the album that takes about six years to produce this, Kat said the process takes too long because of financial factors.
“I need to raise money to publish his own album. That is why I am silent for six years from the publicity as busy with acting and performance stage in many places.
“For this album, I have to collect the songs in stages according to financial ability.
” It takes a long time because I want a best album and special, worth the wait fans, “he said.
Album issue its own production company, kath Entertainment, contains five songs that Chiki, Lost, flirting, twilight and Release .
Also included is a digital versatile disk (DVD) containing video clips Chiki and Lost .
This album has been in the market since 17 April and distribution of Warner Music Malaysia.
