European scientists ask fur Bigfoot

LONDON, Britain – A group of European researchers planning to use new technology analysis of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) for the partial dismantling of human existence hairy creature, Bigfoot.

Project was announced by the Oxford University team of scientists and Zoological Museum Lausanne on Tuesday.

They appealed on museums, scientists and Bigfoot fans around the world to share their fur samples believed to have originated from the mysterious creature.

The new technology requires only a few strands of hair with test results expected to be known within a few weeks . If the sample is found to originate from an unknown species, the technology can help scientists detect whether Bigfoot is similar to other species including humans and apes.

A researchers from the University of Oxford, Bryan Sykes said they had received several offers for the tested samples, including blood, hair and chewed by a Bigfoot merchandise.

Sykes and other scientists will examine all the samples they receive before selecting the specimens to be tested.

They will publish these findings in a scientific journal.
