BizFest 2012 SME program is expected to attract the business community over 500,000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia, which would also require information technology solutions and communications technology (ICT) to improve the business.

Executive Vice President (SMEs) TM, Azizi A Hadi said the new product is a collaboration between the TM with a partner, a Cisco router to provide the modem with the package offered.
He said he is also working with computer manufacturers like Dell, Acer and Hewlett-Packard (HP) to provide desktop computers as part of value-added services through the arm, VAD Ltd.
“This product is specially designed for SME companies with one or more branches across the country for such business involves the use of ICT and mobility complex.
“SmartBiz will provide VPN and ICT solutions simple and organized management system to ensure business entrepreneur with a good run,” he said, at a press conference after launching the SME program BizFest 2012 in Georgetown, Penang.
Also present was TM Penang general manager, Azhar Omar General Manager (Small) TM, Suzana Mohd Salleh and General Manager of Marketing and Solutions (Medium Enterprises) TM, Mohamad Yusman Ammeran.
SME BizFest is the inaugural program this year and it should last two days from Tuesday to introduce a variety of CE products that can help SMEs expand their businesses.
SME BizFest platform also know how ICT SMEs to benefit and strengthen the business .
Azizi said SmartBiz product is a package as low as RM600 compared the ability of the market system to reach thousands of dollars.
“TM RM2 million is expected to earn additional revenue from new products that target the use of this year, “he said.
