COLLEGES Junior Science College (MRSM) Terendak, Melaka again did the country proud when three students won the gold medal in the competition 6th International Environmental Project Olympiad-INEPO-EUROASIA , in Baku, Azerbaijan, recently.
Principal, Noor Hassan Hussain said winning the gold medal at the International Youth Invention Exhibition (IYIE) in Taiwan before students has enhanced the spirit of trying their luck in the competition in Azerbaijan.
“As a result of their design that make salt water or sea water as the preferred energy also received extraordinary attention around the world,” he said.
Title of the project which is accompanied 90 participants from 43 countries are ‘Using Salt Water and Dry Battery Change Project to use the lamp in conjunction with the Feast of Salt Water Replace kerosene.
Students concerned, Muhammad Ashraf Abd Dhiyauddin Nazmi Mohamad Mohamad Jalal and their Norrizal aged 17 years with a teacher escort, Wan Hassan Wan successfully Rohila cells that are resistant salt higher than dry cells available in the market.
Meanwhile, Noor Hassan thanked the Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi for their support and finance students to participate in the competition.
INEPO-EUROASIA AZERBAIJAN Competition is the largest of the 23 began in 2007 and participation is increasing so it can gather 400 students from 43 countries in the 2012 edition . It involves four categories: energy, environmental, and social engineering.Recent search:
