PUTRAJAYA: A man claiming to Putrajaya Hospital did not provide proper treatment after he was involved in an accident, thus incurring the risk of disability for negligence.
Private sector employees, Mohammad Fauzi Abdul Halim, 41, claimed that the incident occurred on August 28 last year after he suffered an accident due to violation of iron in the motorcycle Maju Expressway, Kuala Lumpur Putrajaya Expressway.According to him, when he was with his eldest son on the way home after completing several deals in the National Registration Department (NRD).
“I’m not sure there is iron in the road and caused me to break it and daughter fell on the road. The incident is causing my left hand cut and bleeding and called an ambulance to send us to Putrajaya Hospital.
” During treatment, the doctor asked me to undergo X-rays and given medication without telling any problems. I was allowed to return home the same day, “he said, complaining the matter to the New Straits Times here.
“However, I was advised to refer to the hospital to find out more about the problems faced. Next, I went to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) on January 28 and for further treatments.
“After undergoing X-ray, the doctor confirmed that I have a problem with his left hand. I am not satisfied with the Putrajaya Hospital for not informing the problem earlier when receiving treatment there, “he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director of Putrajaya Hospital, Dr. Mohd Anis Haron, when contacted, said he received Mohammad Fauzi complaints and make inquiries about the matter.
