PETALING JAYA: Four college students, appeared before the Magistrate’s Court here yesterday for the murder of their college lecturer, Zara Eleena Omar Omar Peter Peter and his father Abdullah, the victim’s home in Puchong last month .
Zul Shahril Mohamad Suhaimi, 20; Mohamad Noh Sharafe Matt, 19; Azizi Aizat Ibrahim, 20; and Safwan Mahmud Mohammed, 20; accused of killing Eleena Zara, 23, in house number 28, Jalan TK 1/11, Taman Kinrara, Puchong between the hours of 1:30 and 2:30 am March 9 lalu.Mereka also charged with two Omar murdering Peter, 56, a retired finance company, at the same place between the hours of 11:30 pm March 8 and 1:30 am the next day. All the accused who was unrepresented during the alleged bow a court interpreter read and understand signs allegations merely nodded.
No plea was recorded of all the accused were charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code read with Section 34 of the same law that carries a sentence to death if convicted. Magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abdul Wahid set April 23 for mention before the case is transferred to the High Court.
Earlier, Deputy Public Prosecutor Aifaa Che Nur Abdullah, said he did not offer any guarantee against all the accused and request another date for mention cases pending autopsy and chemical report. />
