KUALA TERENGGANU February 9. – The schools in this state which recorded remarkable achievement in the Primary School Achievement Test (UPSR) and Lower Secondary Assessment (PMR) in 2011 is celebrated by the state government today.
Appreciation Awards for Excellence is is a tradition of appreciation to the school to continue to protect and enhance achievement in various stages of public examinations. It is also part of the commitment shown by the state government with the aspect of education is a priority in efforts to develop and improve people’s lives state.
A few schools receive credit for the success forged between the category of candidate school enrollment of less than 100 percent all the best A UPSR.
Sitting in the sequence list is the National School (SK) Kampung Tok Dor Bharu (66.67 percent), SK Kampung Bukit Hulu Nerus (55.56 percent) and SK Village Branch (51.22 percent) respectively receive RM5, 000; RM3, 500; RM2, 500 with trophy and certificate of appreciation.
For the category of best Grade Point Average, it was won by SK Dusun, Hulu Terengganu (1.23) with a cash prize of RM3, 000.
Category candidate school enrollment of more than 100 percent all the best A UPSR held by SK Tengku Mahmud (51.18 percent), SK Kampung Raja (39.44 percent), SK Sultan Sulaiman 1 (34.12 percent) and the best GPS acquired by SK Tengku Mahmud, Besut.
Chinese National Type Schools (SJKC ) Kwang Hwa, Dungun excellent start crowned SJKC (All A 7.84 per cent and GPS 2:02) with a cash prize of RM2, 500.
District was chosen the best area with all A’s in UPSR prize RM7, 000 each school took home RM5, 000, RM3, 500 and with the trophy and certificate of appreciation.
For the category of best percentage of all PMR by category A schools, five schools are at the point that the Sultan Mahmud Science School ahead list (boarding school).
High School was followed (SMK) Tengku Mahmud, Besut (Premier / Control), Religious School Sheikh Abdul Malek (SMKA).
Petronas also SMK region (Daily) and Islamic schools Khairiah (government-aided religious schools) in all schools took home RM5, 000, trophy and certificate of appreciation while the Kuala Terengganu district emerged the best of all A.
Prize presented by Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Said in a ceremony held in conjunction with the launch of the Porch of Education Sciences (PPAI) in 2012 at Wisma Darul Iman here.
