LONDON – The British intelligence foiled Nazi plans and unlocking code but they fail to solve the mystery of the origins of the legendary comedian, Charlie Chaplin.
Although the entertainer is said as one of the London-born but the new files that are exposed by British intelligence, MI5, found no record is claimed Chaplin was born here on 16 April 1889.
files previously secret and disclosed yesterday by the British National Archives show the British intelligence agency investigation, MI5 of the silent film star in the 1950′s was made at the request of U.S. authorities (U.S.) who have long suspected that he was the communist sympathizer.
The spy was surprised that no birth record of the performers.
“It seems like Chaplin was not born in this country or its name at birth is other than those mentioned,” said MI5 who made conclusions.
